FRCR Part 2A
The FRCR Part 2A Exam evaluates the knowledge based on advanced clinical radiology through six modules covering key body systems, including Cardiovascular, Musculoskeletal, Gastrointestinal, and more.
This multiple-choice exam challenges candidates to demonstrate their understanding of pathology and diagnostic techniques across these areas. Each module addresses specific clinical scenarios and image interpretation relevant to radiological practice.
Exam Requirements
To be eligible for the FRCR Part 2A Exam, candidates must have successfully passed the FRCR Part 1 Exam and completed at least 24 months of clinical radiology training.
This requirement ensures that the candidate has gained practical experience and a solid foundation in radiological principles before progressing to advanced clinical modules.
Exam Format
SBA format: Each question presents a clinical scenario or a radiological image, followed by a question and five answer options. Candidates must select the single best answer from the options provided.
Broad coverage: The questions cover a wide range of topics in clinical radiology, including:

- Interventional radiology
