Dr. Ranjan Venkatesan
MBBS, M.D, FRCOG

Dean, Post-graduate Medicine

Dr. Ranjan Venkatesan is the Dean of Postgraduate Medicine at Texila American University, Guyana. A seasoned medical professional with over 40 years of experience, he holds an M.D. from AIIMS, New Delhi, and fellowships from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, London. He also holds an MBA in Healthcare Management from the University of Stirling, UK. Dr. Venkatesan has served in senior academic, clinical, and advisory roles across India and the UK, and currently leads multiple initiatives in healthcare education and insurance fraud management. He is a widely published author and a respected expert in medical education and healthcare management.

Dr. Suresh Ponnusamy,
MBBS, MD, MRCP (UK),

Assistant Dean

Physician with over 20 years of international experience in general medicine, stroke medicine, and diabetes & endocrinology. He currently serves as a Registrar at Peterborough City Hospital, Northwest Anglia NHS Foundation Trust, UK, and has previously held senior academic positions including Head of the Department of Medicine at Taylor’s University School of Medicine, Malaysia. An accomplished educator and researcher, he has authored book chapters, published in peer-reviewed journals, and presented at international conferences, with professional interests spanning stroke care, endocrine disorders, and innovative approaches in medical education.

Dr. V. BINDU RAJASEKAR
Academic Head

With 30+ years of diverse experience across academia, administration, and corporate sectors, I specialize in educational innovation, digital learning, and operational leadership. At Texila Educare, I’ve managed medical and non-medical programs in distance and blended formats, contributing to outcome-based education models. As Head of E-learning & E-journals, I champion academic publishing, overseeing editorial processes and research dissemination. My work spans impactful training programs at Young Stars, operational leadership in IT/BPO at Auzi IT Solutions, and export-import management at Golden Fries Ltd. Known for strong interpersonal skills and strategic vision, I’m committed to building future-ready, learner-centric ecosystems.
