Texila’s MMed Program: Aiding Doctors Specialize

Getting specialized becomes mandatory for doctors to have a successful career in the medical field. Specialization was a big step and a tough one in my medical career, as I wanted to maintain my current practice while pursuing specialization. There were not many institutions that would help me do that. However, by God’s grace, I came across Texila American University (Texila) and its MMed fellowship program.

During my PG study, I worked for three years at a care hospital aided by tenured professionals mentoring me, and according to the hospital roster, I had done my work and studied. To my surprise, this reflects well in my CV as it indicates good focus and time management skills in the candidate. It is also important to note that the curriculum of Texila is some of the best and comprehensive syllabus modeled after the US curriculum, which is considered one of the best in the world fit for the ever-changing world of medicine.

Texila provides students online interactive classes on selected topics, which are very useful and comprehensive. More emphasis is given to research and publication to help students gain analytical capabilities. The monthly one-on-one reviews aid this and are also conducted to set the students on the right track. The university staff, student mentors, academic heads, and advisors are amicable and cooperative with students.

Texila also conducts an online theoretical exam every six months to assess students’ performance upon completing the program. A clinical exam is also performed before being awarded the degree.

Overall, Texila is an excellent university and improving day by day while gaining popularity for offering excellent services. Thank you, Texila, for providing me with world-class training that helped me get specialized in internal medicine training, and for giving me dual country recognition degrees.
